Danielle Simmons is a seasoned attorney with nine years of experience, specializing in business taxation and tax law. Her professional journey is marked by a rare blend of scientific achievement, legal expertise, and a commitment to community service.


Danielle’s academic path began at St. Bonaventure University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in 2001. She pursued advanced studies at the University at Buffalo, earning a PhD in Structural Biology in 2008. Her passion for science led her to work alongside esteemed figures, including Nobel Prize winner Dr. Herbert Hauptman. Inspired by her exposure to intellectual property law during her scientific career, she pivoted to law and earned her Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law in 2012.


During law school, Danielle co-launched a successful Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) clinic with her tax professor. By the time she graduated, the clinic had served hundreds of clients. Her dedication to tax law continued as she became a subject matter expert for Intuit TurboTax, working for four years in their quality review department. She is also admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. Tax Court and is an authorized IRS e-file provider.



Danielle is certified as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and is proficient in QuickBooks Online. Her practice is informed by her dual passions for law and science, allowing her to tackle complex tax and business challenges with a unique perspective.


Beyond her professional life, Danielle is an enthusiastic problem-solver who enjoys building and repairing everything from computers to cars. She takes pride in crafting intricate cat walls for her three cats and also enjoys playing video games. A former Division I rugby player for St. Bonaventure University, she is a state championship winner who values teamwork and perseverance.
